Gender Digital Divide: Diagnosis & Intervention Design

Root causes, data challenges, and intervention design for closing the mobile and internet gender gap - grounded in GSMA's Mobile Gender Gap research.

About this course

The gender digital divide is well documented and persistent - and closing it requires understanding its specific, layered root causes, not a generic "more access" approach. This course covers what the GSMA Mobile Gender Gap Report measures, the affordability, literacy, safety, and social-norm drivers behind the gap, intersectional considerations, sex-disaggregated data challenges, and intervention design principles that address root causes rather than symptoms. Completing all modules earns a Mafichoni certificate of completion. Designing a gender digital inclusion programme? Mafichoni's inclusion team runs assessments and designs interventions - book a discovery call.
